If a smoker is applying to work at an environmentally friendly organization i think yes the employer can not hire you just for that reason because by smoking it would make the company look bad. Cause that company is say hey keep the environment clean and you go off and smoke that just looks bad.
If your like so overweight to the point where your production and work ethics would be crappy then yes the employer can not hire you. Employer want to get stuff done faster to save money, and if you work to slow and are gonna cause them money they wont hire you.
